i unveiled the press for the first time since moving to the brunswick studio. after many weeks of deliberating i was ready to start. i have had this idea to chop up my old plates into little 10x10cm squares and make compositions with them in this way. it took a while to get the pressure of the press right and the right configuration... but finally i hit on some etching gold and decided on the 4th image posted here to make an edition from. the bottom image needs a lot of work. i think i might lose the horses and re-etch the background darker... so much to think about.
i have been madly making stuff for a little etsy shop i am going to open. keep posted!...
